Model Rockets

This level would introduce kids to the world of model rockets to gain a better understanding of STEM concepts like gravity, thrust, trajectory, principles of aerodynamics, flight and Newton's law of motion. Model Rockets are a popular way to increase student's interest in STEM during middle and high school. You can find a great deal of information here

Advanced

Tenets:

  • Hands-on project based learning.

  • Research and exploration on physics behind rockets.

  • Build  and simulate model rockets.

  • Send rocket payloads to a height of 1000 ft and beyond.

  • Experimenting with principles of aerodynamics and flight.

  • Build own experiments using sensors/cameras/gadgets to explore the earth.

  •  Team collaboration and presentations.

Model Rockets
